Our longtime clients at Casio came to us to help visualize their latest and greatest iteration of their iconic G-Shock watch. Among its many features are a solar powered battery, bluetooth connectivity, and premium brushed steel materials. We took a minimalist approach with the design and animation to really let the focus be the beautiful materials and lighting of our highly detailed cg renders. Utilizing Maya and Vray, we modeled, rigged and animated the watch and then dialed in the materials and lighting to create a photoreal rendering of the watch as it floats in a wind tunnel environment.
